Easter has come and gone and again we reflected on the meaning of Easter. It's great when your children put meaning into those Easter Eggs. A trip to Busselton to walk the 2km long jetty on Friday and another trip to Margaret River, the Dolphin Discovery Centre and the Big Swamp on Saturday was in order as my Sister and her family visited from New Zealand.
I must say it was very strange not seeing the family for 8 years... you tend to grow apart and I noticed a big difference in personal growth. I am not one for small talk and struggle to communicate with people that are not hugely, passionately driven in life to succeed. Must be something wrong with me! It was amazing to see my nephew who I had never seen before. The worst part was saying goodbye to him. Unfortunately I had one of my 3 day headaches and was numb on painkillers, and the depression has hit me like a sledge hammer... dunno if it was old wounds that were reopened or missing Eric (my nephew) but it's horrible. I went for a walk and like I do most days gave thanks for everything I have in my life - wonderful kids, amazing wife, great house in the best country, great health, so many opportunities etc. It helped slightly but strangely I'm feeling better as I write this.
But its time to "pull myself towards myself" to refocus and get on with it. Late last week I had completed the first 2 pages of my first AdGold Rush site, uploaded it and it was looking great. I then made some changes to the CSS style page and by mistake saved it as my index page and lost my original site... 8 hours of work down the drain... aaaaaarghhhh. But I will NEVER make that mistake again so we will put it down to experience and move on today. My goal this week is to have 3 AdGold Rush sites completed by Sunday so I better getting moving...
