As of tomorrow, eBay will not allow sales of digitally delivered products, as an auction listing. But you can still sell them via their classified ads, provided you have an external site to do that with.
So what does that mean?
Well I think it's a good thing. It's certainly been good for me as I have become a very lazy seller on eBay, because of all the automation. Months ago I thought that I should convert my ebooks into physical products, but just never got around to it.
It is very easy to become complacent, while making money online. Frustrating in the beginning as you test and test... and test! But when something starts selling, the laziness seems to set in. Its easier to move onto the next best thing.
So the eBay deadline has been like a size 12 kicking me in the butt... And I'll probably end up making more money!!
So, thanks eBay... I needed someone to pull the rug out!
